TV producer Endemol has got a new online commission – it’s making Buzzed, a TV-style quiz show that will show on Metacafe twice a week in two-minute episodes from this spring. Endemol USA digital VP Jon Vlassopulos (via Variety): “The holy grail for us would be starting a show on the Internet and then packaging it internationally on TV.” Metacafe said it’s “part of our transformation from user-generated to shortform”. In the UK, Endemol is making The Gap Year for Bebo and Cell for O2.
