Associated Press is plucking the CEO of the Stockholm-based Kamera mobile video firm, Henrik Eklund, to its new role of digital partnerships and distribution director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. His remit will be to strike carriage deals for AP content in online and mobile platforms. Kamera had inked distribution with Vodafone (NYSE: VOD), MSN, Orange, Telefonica (NYSE: TEF), O2, Hutchinson and China Mobile before it was bought by Roo Group and, later, by consequence, KIT Digital last year.
