Former Trinity Mirror (LSE: TNI) digital marketing director Paul Hood, who was made redundant in the publisher’s recent reorganisation, will be digital director for the London publications of local news publisher Archant.
“We will be looking to (startups) with a location based element that we can potentially add rich relevant content to make it better,” Hood tells NMA.
Archant’s London titles include Hackney Gazette, Muswell Hill Journal and Camden Gazette.
Hood had been consulting since leaving Trinity Mirror this summer.
