Polaris- and Ron Conway-backed social games maker Lolapps of San Francisco is merging with Hong Kong-based counterpart 6waves, as each plays catch-up to market-leading Zynga and Playfish in the social games space.
Lolapps’ two games are Ravenwood Fair and Ravenwood Mines. But its greater asset is Fliso, the Flash engine it recently acquired from Sean Cooper Games in order to build these simple, isometric 3D social game worlds. 6waves has more games, including Birdland and Animal Party.
Terms aren’t disclosed.
