— Guardian.co.uk: GNM’s culture head Georgina Henry, a former deputy editor who launch-edited Comment Is Free, is named head of the site after Janine Gibson’s recent switch. Henry “will be responsible for all aspects of the website except news”, Guardian.co.uk reports.

— Conville & Walsh: Carrie Kania is taking on the gig of literary agent at Conville & Walsh in London. Most recently, she was SVP and publisher of HarperCollins’ pop culture imprint It Books and paperback divisions Harper Perennial and Harper paperbacks. The company says it will make an announcement about the future of It Books, which Kania launched in 2009, soon.
