In 2010, European online display advertising bounced back, with 21.3 percent annual growth outpacing search ads’ 15.1 percent increase.
The figures from the IAB’s AdEx report are an average from across European countries.
Internet advertising growth of 10.3 percent to €17.7 billion outpaced 2010 cross-sector growth of five percent.
“Market growth ranged from 37 percent in Russia and 24 percent in the Czech Republic, to 14 percent in Denmark and seven percent in France,” according to the AdEx.
