McAdam, who had previously project-managed several projects at Teletext, ITV (LSE: ITV), Livestation and more, was taken on as mobile application lead for The Sun and News Of The World at News Group, News International’s tabloid/mass-market imprint, on an interim basis. The Sun’s edition followed The Times’, at £4.99 per month, in July, but, unlike The Times, tried to include both print page replicas and a low-key native tablet UI (see our review). News Of The World is due to debut on iPad at £1.19 a week soon.
