Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) is shuffling two of it senior editors after moving one to focus on multimedia output alongside Chris Cramer.
— EMEA managing editor Mark Thompson is becoming multimedia managing editor, remaining London-based, reporting to global multimedia editor Cramer.
— Americas managing editor Brian Rhoads (pictured) will fill the Asia part of Thompson’s previous role, moving from New York to Hong Kong, reporting to global managing editor Betty Wong.
Thompson’s role oversees Reuters’ TV division, pictures and graphics, including for online. Rhoads will oversee over 500 journalists Reuters has in Asia.
