Omnifone tells paidContent:UK it’s part of an effort to extend its international footprint from having clients in the current 20 countries to 30. It wants to find U.S. partners in electronics, mobile, automotive or ISPs.
The company provides its MusicStation service or variants of it to clients including Sony (NYSE: SNE) Ericsson (NSDQ: ERIC), Vodafone (NYSE: VOD), Telenor, Hutchison Telecom and Vodacom. It recently began powering BSkyB’s Sky Songs service and won pre-bundling for he service on HP PCs in 10 European countries.
