The markets for content for female content and eco-minded content continue to grow. Now one new little publishing house is targeting both.
Delightful Media was started last year by Sarah Woodhead, who had been founding creative director of social shopping startup Osoyou.com after leaving as women’s new media director with Emap Elan.
It has two blogs – Queens Of Vintage for “vintage style advice and gossip” and now Greenmystyle, “a daily eco glossy magazine devoted to the most stylish ethical fashion, beauty and home style”. The latter on Tuesday added ethical-living commentator and author Jen Marsden as its editor, Delightful said in a release.
Neither vertical is vacant for Woodhead’s taking. Both spaces are increasingly well served by both indie blogs and the kinds of magazines she used to help run. But Woodhead has been iCircle editor-in-chief and Wannado content head before now; maybe there’s room…
