VideoJug To Go Without CEO After Cruickshank’s Exit

imageHow-to video site VideoJug will not hire a replacement for outgoing chief exec Nancy Cruickshank, who is leaving to become executive director of digital development at Telegraph Media Group. Chief financial officer Rupert Ashe (Via MediaWeek): “It is unlikely that we will recruit a new chief executive in the next year”. VideoJug has promoted product and ops director Tom Laidlaw to be COO, with chair Dan Thompson and commercial director Steve Filler taking some of Cruickshank’s duties, the report says. The site also hired a European MD in Paps Shaikh last year.

VideoJug. raised $30 million in 2007 and months later hired Cruickshank, who had been Handbag.com MD and widened her role to be overall Heart Digital MD when Hearst’s NatMags bought the site in 2006. But she left after 12 months.
