UK-based Babelgum, an online video site, has launched an iPhone app in the U.S. with content coming from EMI, the BBC, Comedy.com, Lonely Planet and National Geographic. The free app works over both 3G and Wi-Fi. It says it will unveil apps for the T-Mobile G1 this month and follow-up HTC Dream next month, with BlackBerry Storm, Samsung Omnia, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N97 and 5800 to come.
