Secondary ticketing exchange Seatwave is hiring former Camelot interactive director Richard Hurd-Wood as its COO and UK MD. Hurd-Wood set up online operations for the lottery operator in 2001 and led its third successful bid for the lotto license. He previously held roles at AOL (NYSE: TWX) and Dell, but no coincidence that his Camelot role revolved around selling online tickets to punters. Founded by Ticketmaster alum Joe Cohen and Atlas Ventures in 2007, Seatwave is sitting on $36 million in funding to date, competes with Viagogo and is now trying to bed in as a proper business, recently adding Vodafone
