Another alum to go in the wake of the Bauer takeover, former Emap (LSE: EMA) digital director Dharmash Mistry is joining Balderton Capital to advise on its existing portfolio, which includes Habbo Hotel and 7digital, as well as new opportunities, NMA says. Mistry had led broadband and mobile strategy at Emap’s Performance unit from 2006 but the acquisition of the consumer publishing and radio divisions by Bauer has been disruptive and Mistry left at the start of the year. Balderton used to be known as Benchmark’s European wing.
