James Murdoch is promoting Sky Italia COO Mark Williams to become News Corp CFO for Europe and Asia. Williams will relocate to London in March, in Murdoch’s first senior appointment since becoming News Corp CEO and chair for the same region before Christmas. The role came up because Stephen Daintith is moving to become Dow Jones (NYSE: NWS) CFO in New York, The Guardian reported.
