– Blinkx: The London- and San Francisco-based video search index is doing a deal to show videos from HIT Entertainment’s Guinness World Records’ video vault, a repository of records and attempted records. Blinkx will place contextual video ads on the clips and the pair will split the revenue. (Via release).
– TIOTI: Online TV social aggregator TapeItOffTheInternet (TIOTI), which came out of beta in October, is looking to get paid for more of the viewers it sends to programme distributors. Co-founder Paul Cleghorn, interviewed at E-consultancy: “We are also looking at ad-funded providers like Joost and Babelgum, where we refer users to them. If we send them anonymised user data, we would want to share their ad revenue too. It
