ITV Rejigs Consumer Division With New Emphasis On Acquisitions

ITV (LSE: ITV) has restructured Jeff Henry’s ITV Consumer division that runs ITV.com, ITV Play, ITV Local, mobile content and the broadcaster’s relationship with PartyGaming (release). COO Tom Betts gets the new role of commercial and acquisitions director in a rejig that could suggest further buyouts are on the way. Betts will be the lead negotiator on major corporate deals and is replaced by ITV director of strategy Ben McOwen Wilson.
