Sky News will broadcast a live news programme over its website from October 2. “Sky.com News” will be a half-hour show running at 7.30pm four days a week, featuring the most-clicked stories from the news organisation’s website and offering analysis of one of the site’s most popular stories as well as bringing online discussion in to studio debate, Sky News told The Guardian. The show will also include rundowns of the most popular online videos from around the world. Sky.com News will also air on the TV channel but will continue online during TV commercial breaks (does this suggest they haven’t got advertiser buy-in for the project?). It comes as part of yet another schedule revamp.
