BT will launch an MVNO in Spain targeting businesses and the public sector, off the back of Vodafone’s network, the company announced. Due to be rolled out in the summer, the new service will offer video calling, audio and video streaming, location-based services and convergence packages with fixed-line services. It is intended as the mobile component of the corporate version of BT’s Fusion package, allowing employees to wander in and out of the office with a single handset, moving from fixed to mobile calls and data services.
The British telco has operated in Spain since 1989 and offers corporate networking services to several large clients. Fusion is also set for launch in Spain during the summer.
